After the official signing of the donor contract in July 2023 by the more than 20 donating companies, District Administrator Tamara Bischof and the President of the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences (THWS) Prof. Dr. Robert Grebner, the Technology Transfer Centre Kitzingen (TTZKT) project is now also visible to the outside world.

The TTZ-KT website is now online at ttz-kt.thws.de and provides information on everything important about the Technology Transfer Centre Kitzingen, such as its development process and information on the founding companies.

But what actually is this TTZ-KT?

The Technology Transfer Centre acts as an interface between the THWS, with its outstanding technical expertise in the fields of robotics and AI, and the participating partner companies. The aim is to enable a direct transfer of robotics and AI know-how into the economy, as well as to promote the networking of companies and generate solutions for recruiting young talent.

In the future, concrete projects for research by companies can be submitted at the research centre, which is being built at Innopark Kitzingen. Robotics and artificial intelligence in Kitzingen will drive the technological edge in the district with the TTZ-KT. Technical theses and dissertations (Bachelor’s / Master’s) are to be arranged via the centre and the website, as well as internships.

We as a company are looking forward to the special cooperations and are excited about the synergies that will come with this special project.
