On Friday, October 25, 2024, the closing ceremony of the German Crafts Championship at the Bavarian level took place in a festive setting. Numerous guests from the crafts industry, including of course the 94 prize winners, their masters and trainers, relatives and political representatives, were invited to the event, which took place in the Maininsel conference center in Schweinfurt.

The celebration began with a warm welcome from Michael Bissert, President of the Chamber of Crafts for Lower Franconia, who pointed out to those present the importance of crafts for the Bavarian economy and society. In his opening speech, Franz Xaver Peteranderl, President of the Bavarian Crafts Day, emphasized the outstanding achievements of the participants and the importance of craftsmanship and creativity in today’s world.

The highlight of the event was the awarding of the state winners, who had successfully passed their exams in various trades against the competition. The proud winners received a certificate and were celebrated for their outstanding work and commitment.
